Grandparental announcement

This grand parental announcement is to herald the arrival of a new 'Othona Baby'. REUBEN SIMON KELLY who was born naturally, if a little unexpectedly at 7.30pm on Thursday 27th October, to proud parents John & Lucy and weighed in at a healthy-ish 2 kg (4lb 6.5oz).
As Lucy's mother and a supporter at the birth, Gail is claiming full 'Grandma' status, with immediate effect . . . but she will be returning to Warden's duties at Bradwell "in a few days"; meanwhile Reuben is in Intensive Care Unit but going from strength to strength daily, Lucy is recovering well and John is busily preparing for their arrival home soon.
Update, at the end of the year: Reuben appeared for the first time on the Bradwell bedlist for Wednesday 28th December - he has enjoyed the good company, the buggy rides over to Chapel and the chance to sleep undisturbed in the dining area!
